Prince Charles' Tour to South India - Kochi, Kerala

Britain's Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall is going to begin their South India Tour In Kochi (Cochin) from November 11 to 14 th. The Royal Couples selected Kochi as their South India Tour destination. Princes’ royal visit will entice the elevation of Kochi to a global city and a global Tourist destination. Kochi has emerged as the most livable city in India, according to a study  conducted by y the New Delhi-based economics research and data analysis firm Indicus Analytics. Cochin, is a major port city on the west coast of India by the Arabian Sea and is the district of Ernakulam in the state of Kerala. Cochin  is often called by the name Ernakulum, which refers to the mainland part of the city

 

The pair's tour to south india, will include a visit to one of the oldest active synagogues in the commonwealth, which is located in Kochi in the south Indian state of Kerala.

The Kerala Folklore Museum and Theatre,  Jewish Synagogue and  Mattancherry Palace Museum are the three heritage sites selected for royal visit.

The most important destination selected is Athirapally falls and Vazhachal Ecotourism , wild life watch, Jungle safari etc  . They  are going to spent couple of hours in Vazhachal forest range, for to view the elephant corridor there. Prince Charles is is actively involved in the WWF globally

 

They will move to Sri Lanka, where Charles is attending the 2013 Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting on behalf of his mother, Queen Elizabeth.
